Overview
The London Development Project, now known as Plumtree Court, was a large and significant project delivered for Multiplex and their client, global investment bank Goldman Sachs. The £359 million building serves as Goldman Sachs’ new European headquarters and was designed by architect KPF (Kohn Pedersen Fox). The commercial development takes up almost a full block of space, totalling 859,000 sq ft, between Fleet Street and Farringdon Station.
Integral Cradles delivered three large external BMUs with a glass replacement facility, alongside a large internal monorail and gantry system, together with a range of additional safety line and localised access solutions. The largest of the three BMUs is parked and hidden behind the raised parapet on the building’s façade.
As part of the handover, Integral Cradles fully trained the Goldman Sachs team on the equipment, and the system is now under warrantied maintenance with maintenance partner GIND UK, currently working with the client on a long-term framework agreement for the ongoing maintenance of the systems.
