GIND UK, an award-winning access systems maintenance provider, is delighted to announce it has been awarded a contract to continue providing the maintenance of access equipment at One Blackfriars Road.
GIND UK’s engineers have maintained access equipment installed by Integral Cradles at One Blackfriars Road since the completion of the building’s construction in 2020.
Located at the heart of London’s South Bank, One Blackfriars is a mixed-use scheme featuring a residential tower, along with residents’ leisure facilities, hotel, restaurants, and shops across two smaller buildings, all centred around a new public plaza.
Rising to 50 storeys and 170 metres, the tower is one of the tallest residential buildings in Europe.
Integral Cradles, GIND UK’s installation partner, has been working at the site to deliver multiple access solutions, including the installation of three Building Maintenance Units (BMUs).
During the last four years, the three BMUs have been working with very few issues. Together with its interlocked doors and integrated roof, GIND UK continues to provide high quality maintenance on these spatially challenging systems.
This ensures the 170m tower with its 274 apartments are cleaned and maintained externally so its panoramic views over the iconic London skyline can continue to be enjoyed.
